§ Mr. CroslandThe improvement of the environment is a continuing process in which a number of my right hon 269W Friends, including the Minister of Housing and Local Government and the Secretary of State for Wales, are engaged The Government are strongly supporting the efforts of "The Countryside in 1970" movement to mark the European Conservation Year in this country. I shall attend the Council of Europe Conference in Strasbourg in February.
