§ Dr. John DunwoodyThe total number of submissions approved by the Committee on Safety of Drugs for clinical trial or marketing in 1968 was 669, of which 248 related to products containing more than one active ingredient. I cannot estimate what, if any, additional cost to the National Health Service may result.
