§ Mrs. Shirley WilliamsA number of colleges of further education in the Northern Region offer full-time integrated courses of education and practical training for first-year apprentices. These courses are intended for young people following an apprenticeship and therefore already in employment, although at present a few places are, exceptionally, filled by students unsponsored by an employer.
