asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation has put specific proposals for mutual troop reductions before the Warsaw Pact countries.

No. The Warsaw Pact countries have not responded to the call to join in the search for progress in mutual force reductions made by the North Atlantic Council at its meeting in Reykjavik in June, 1968.
