HC Deb 22 April 1969 vol 782 c50W
37. Mr. Edward M. Taylor

asked the Minister of Power what is the estimated total amount of coal which the British Steel Corporation will purchase in 1969; and if the purchase will be at a bulk and uniform price.

Mr. Mason

The British Steel Corporation tells me about 17½ million tons almost all of it coking coal.

Arrangements for purchases and the prices payable are matters for settlement between the British Steel Corporation and the National Coal Board.
