§ Mr. Whitakerasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether he will give an assurance that no public funds are given for cultural performances given to audiences which are racially segregated in South Africa or elsewhere.
§ Mr. FoleyAssistance from public funds is not given for cultural performances given before segregated audiences in South Africa. Elsewhere the Government's well-known views on racial discrimination would be taken into account in the light of the circumstances.
