asked the Minister of Transport what profit or loss he estimates will be made by British Railways in 1969.

Mr. Marsh

The major changes resulting from the Transport Act 1968 make forecasting particularly difficult, but the Railways Board hope to make a reasonably reliable financial forecast about the end of May.
