§ Mr. Oakesasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will make a statement on the discussions he has held with the Governments of the Republic of the Argentine and of the Republic of Uruguay on the effects of the first report of the Northumberland Committee.
§ Mr. FoleyThe Report is still under consideration by Her Majesty's Government and has therefore not been the subject of any such discussions. My right hon. Friend the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food has already informed the House that he will be making a statement when the report is published on 1st May or as soon as possible thereafter.
