§ 46. Mr. Gordon Campbellasked the Secretary of State for Scotland when he estimates local authorities in Scotland will have completed repairs to the main damage to roads caused by last winter's weather, such as dangerous potholes, in 291W view of the reduction in the maintenance programme recently announced.
§ Mr. BuchanI do not accept that this suggested reduction need prevent local authorities from maintaining their roads in a good state of repair. Trunk road maintenance has not been reduced.
