§ Mr. FernyhoughThis factory was inspected by one of Her Majesty's Inspectors of Factories on 26th August, 1968. The inspectors found that the doors leading to the street from the escape staircase, which had been padlocked at the time of the previous inspection in April, 1968, were open. The fire alarm, however, was not fully operational and it had not been tested within the previous three months. The occupier was requested to take the necessary corrective action.
