Royal Commission on Local Government (Report)

Mr. Gordon Campbell

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what is now his estimate of the date when the Report of the Royal Commission on Local Government in Scotland will be published.

Mr. Ross

The Commission is now in process of drafting its Report. I understand that while publication in the early summer is not now possible the Report should be published later in the summer.
