§ 66. Mr. Bruce-Gardyneasked the Secretary of State for Employment and Productivity if she will now make a statement on the action which the Government plans to take on reports Nos. 107 and 108 from the National Board for Prices and Incomes.
§ Mr. Harold WalkerMy right hon. Friend announced on 3rd April the Government's decisions on Report No. 107 on top salaries. As regards the Board's report No. 108 on pay and conditions in the Electrical Contracting Industry in Scotland, on 27th March she published in theEdinburgh Gazette notice of a proposal to continue until 23rd November 1969 the standstill on the implementation of an agreement relating to the pay of certain workers employed by members of the Electrical Contractors' Association of Scotland. My right hon. Friend is now considering representations made to her by the parties.
§ Mr. Biffenasked the Secretary of State for Employment and Productivity what action she has taken following the recommendations of the National Board for Prices and Incomes on the pay of Scottish electricians on construction sites.
§ Mr. Harold WalkerOn 27th March my right hon. Friend published a proposal to make an Order extending until 23rd November, 1969 the deferment of the agreement reached on 18th December 1968 between the Electrical Contractors Association of Scotland and the Electrical Electronic and Telecommunications/Plumbers Trade Union. She is now considering representations made to her by the parties.
§ Mr. Biffenasked the Secretary of State for Employment and Productivity what action she has taken following the recommendations of the National Board 215W for Prices and Incomes on the pay of white-collar staff employed by Imperial Chemical Industries Limited.
§ Mr. Harold WalkerTalks have been held with the Company at official level and my right hon. Friend is meeting Company representatives on 16th April to discuss the Board's report.
