Mr. Arthur Lewis

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he will obtain from the Commissioner of Police information as to what action he has taken or intends taking to enforce section 4 of the London Cab Act 1968; and whether he will publish the information received in the OFFICIAL REPORT.

The Commissioner of Police has informed me that every alleged offence against section 4 of the 1968 Act is investigated and that proceedings have been taken successfully in a number of cases.
