HC Deb 14 April 1969 vol 781 c213W
Mr. Dalyell

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will now initiate discussions with the Danish Government to control netting of the Atlantic salmon in feeding grounds in Danish territorial waters off Sukkertoppen, Greenland, with a view to preventing the decrease in salmon in British rivers.

Mr. Mulley

No. We are of course in touch with the Danish Government on this subject but consider that it is essentially a question for discussion at the international fisheries commissions.
