MallalieuProfessor Williams, of Southampton University, will report on the availability of sites in London and has reported on Glasgow, Manchester, Leicester, Cardiff, Sheffield, Southampton and Newcastle. Brian Colquhoun and Partners, a firm of consulting civil engineers, will report on the wide range of problems that the development of particular VTOL sites would generate in London and Glasgow. It is not the purpose of either of these surveys to earmark particular sites, but to identify problems in anticipation of 105W the development of an inter-city VTOL aircraft.
