HC Deb 02 April 1969 vol 781 c105W
Mr. MacArthur

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if, in view of the 208 representations and nine petitions he has received, all opposing British Standard Time, he will reconsider his policy to continue this time experiment in Scotland.

Mr. Ross

Unless the Government's assessment of the effects of British Standard Time during the past winter indicates clearly the need for earlier action, I propose to await the outcome of the full-scale review to be held after the winter of 1969–70.
