§ Mr. Bradleyasked the Minister of Transport whether he will now make a statement about his review of pensions for railway superannuitants.
§ Mr. MarshIt is the responsibility of the British Railways Board to initiate any proposals for increasing railway pensions. They have recently put proposals to me for increases in pensions already in payment which are generally in line with those of the Pensions (Increase) Act, 1969. I have now approved these proposals.
