§ 107. Mr. Brooksasked the Minister of Transport when he expects to have published the results of the Merseyside Land Use and Transportation study; what is the latest estimate of the total cost of this study; and whether it is proposed subsequently to organise a continuing review of traffic and physical planning problems of the conurbation.
Mr. Bob BrownI understand that the study is expected to be completed next April within the current estimate of £430,000. Results should be available shortly thereafter. Discussions are in progress about the form that further co-ordinated planning should take.
