§ Mrs. Shirley WilliamsHer Majesty's Inspectors and my Department advise the schools and encourage and assist the provision of publications and courses for teachers. Financial support is given to research and development and to bodies like the National Council for Educational Technology, the Educational Foundation for Visual Aids and the National Centre for Programmed Learning.
