§ Mr. BuchanYes. I understand that the conference produced a useful exchange of ideas and information on a wide range of topics affecting fishing harbours. These included the special problems of small ports, the planning of ports and facilities for inshore fishermen and the need for changes in traditional methods to improve the handling and marketing of fish. The conference invited F.A.O. to set up small working groups to receive papers on research into small ports and on planning and other aspects of fishing ports.
