Mr. Parkerasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government what proposals have been submitted to him by the Greater London Council under Section 58(2) of the London Government Act, 1963, for his consent to transfer Hainault Forest to the London Borough of Redbridge; and whether he will give an undertaking to hold a local public inquiry before giving his decision on such an application.
§ Mr. GreenwoodNone. Should a scheme come forward I am under a statutory duty to consult the local councils involved and would consider whether wider consultation was necessary.
