§ Mr. FernyhoughOn 14th October, 1968 the unemployment rate for the Portsmouth travel-to-work area was 2.9 per cent. On 9th September, the latest date for which national and regional figures are available, the rate for Great Britain was 2.3 per cent. and that for the South-East Region 1.5 per cent.
