§ 25. Mr. John Fraserasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what further proposals he has to advance parent-teacher co-operation.
§ Mr. Edward ShortA survey of parent-teacher relations in primary schools as recommended in the Plowden Report will be published by my Department on 5th November. The Department has also held two national conferences of teachers and parents on this subject, and another is planned. From these conferences are emerging local conferences and study groups.
I attach the highest importance to these developments.
