§ Mr. Lomasasked the Minister of Overseas Development, if he will list the amount of direct British financial aid to all countries; and if, from figures available to him from international sources, he will express such aid as a percentage of the total budget of each country.
§ Mr. PrenticeFigures on British aid to individual countries are provided in Table 20 of my Ministry's publication "British Aid Statistics" which is available in the Library of the House. It would be misleading to express the figures as a percentage of budget income in recipient countries particularly as in many cases budget income does not include development aid receipts.
