§ Mr. Hooleyasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government if he will list in the OFFICIAL REPORT the capital debt in respect of housing of each county borough in England and Wales, and the approximate cost to each borough of servicing this debt during the current financial year, assuming no change in bank rate.
§ Mr. MacCollThe information requested in respect of the current year will not be available until some time after the end of that year. The latest year for which comprehensive information is available is 1966–67, and my hon. Friend may find it useful to consult "Housing Statistics 1966–67" and "Return of Outstanding Debt as at 31st March, 1967", both published by the Institute of Municipal Treasurers and Accountants.
