§ Mr. William RodgersOn 30th August, 1968 the Board of Trade addressed a Direction to the shipping lines which are members of the North Atlantic Westbound Freight Association. The Direction prohibits those shipping lines from complying, so far as their activities in the United Kingdom are concerned, with the Order of the Federal Maritime Commission of the U.S.A. which was the subject of the Shipping Contracts (Foreign Measures) Order, 1968. I have arranged for a copy of the Board of Trade's Direction to be placed in the Library.
