§ Mr. OramDuring the past year, 168 students from developing countries were given Technical Assistance training awards to enable them to attend management training courses in Britain. The subjects studied included management, management studies and services, business administration, vocational training in industry, personnel management, industrial relations, training policy and administration and training techniques. Duration of the courses ranged from three to nineteen months, the average being seven months and the average cost £875.
