§ Dame Joan Vickersasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs what action the Government has taken on Resolution 68(3) adopted on 8th March, 1968 by the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe and relating to the Hague Convention abolishing the 21W requirement of legislation of foreign public documents.
§ Mr. MulleyThe United Kingdom has signed the European Convention on the Abolition of the Legalisation of Documents Executed by Diplomatic Agents or Consular Officers and it is hoped to ratify this Convention in the near future. The United Kingdom ratified the Hague Convention referred to in Resolution (68) 3 in 1964.
