§ Mr. RossI am consulting the Scottish local authority associations about the possibility of withdrawing the statutory authority under which education authorities may in certain circumstances charge fees in some of their schools. The future rôle of grant-aided schools is presently being considered by the Public Schools Commission and its Scottish Committee.
