Mr. MotleyHer Majesty's Government first learned of the invasion of Czechoslovakia at 1.30 a.m. on the 21st of August when my right hon. and noble Friend the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, acting on my right hon. Friend's behalf, received the Soviet Ambassador. My right hon. Friend was personally notified of the invasion at 3.20 a.m. on the same day.
