§ Dr. David OwenAs announced in Command 3540, as part of the changes in the Naval Shore Command Organisation in the United Kingdom, the duties of Area Flag Officer for the Plymouth Area and Admiral Superintendent Devon-port will be carried out by one Flag Officer. Details of the new structure at Plymouth and elsewhere are still being worked out, and I cannot at this stage forecast who will be appointed to the post at Plymouth.
