§ Mr. George ThomasIn 1968–69 expenditure is expected to be about £7 million. This includes extra work authorised to reduce winter unemployment. Expenditure in the years 1969–70 and 1970–71 is planned to be about £6½ million and £7 million respectively. Figures for later years are riot yet available.
