§ Mr. Scott-Hopkinsasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer when he will take steps to buy at an equitable price Rhodesian stock, which because of nonpayment of interest through Government action is unnegotiable.
§ Mr. Harold LeverI cannot accept any responsibility for Rhodesian stock. The non-payment of interest is a consequence of the illegal declaration of independence, not of any action of Her Majesty's Government. Obviously this affects the price, but the stock remains negotiable.
