35. Mrs. RenéeShort asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science how many Commonwealth immigrant teachers have completed their training at day training colleges during the academic year ended July, 1968; and how many of these are now teaching in schools in England and Wales.

In the year, 57 immigrant teachers completed their courses satisfactorily and according to my latest information all except three are employed as teachers.
