§ Mr. J. E. B. Hillasked the Minister for the Civil Service if he will state the estimated cost of bringing all public service and armed forces pensions up to current levels of pensions awarded in the years ended December, 1957, 1961, 1963, 1965 and 1967, respectively.
§ Mrs. HartParity with current levels of pensions awarded in the years ended December, 1957 and December, 196798W would cost about£10 million and over£90 million respectively in the first year. A disproportionate amount of time and effort would be required to provide estimates for the intervening dates, but they would fall within the above range.
