§ Mr. George Jegerasked the Secretary of State for Economic Affairs whether, in view of the unemployment position in the Goole constituency, which is worse than in some development areas, it is proposed to promote emergency relief works during the winter months.
§ Mr. Frederick LeeNo. In view of the limited sum of money available for winter unemployment relief this year the expenditure is being concentrated on the Development Areas in Scotland, Wales and the Northern Region.
