§ Mr. Andersonasked the Minister of Transport to what exent in reaching his provisional conclusion that local train services between Newport and Gloucester should not be grant-aided, he sought the views of the Severnside Survey on projected long-term developments in the area.
§ Mr. MarshI did not directly seek the views of the Severnside Survey, but before reaching my decision I consulted the Welsh Council and the South West Economic Planning Council.
