Russellasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if his Advisory Committee on the Health and Welfare of Handicapped Persons have now considered the suggestion for a revised form of disabled driver's badge in accordance with the answer given by the Minister of Health on 12th July, 1968; and what conclusion has been reached.
§ Mr. EnnalsThe advice of my Advisory Committee, which I accept, is that it would be unwise to replace a design which has become well known. Badges may, however, be issued for display both at the front and rear of cars. Any Question relating to privileges for badge holders would be for my right hon. Friend the Minister of Transport, who would be glad to inquire into any case of difficulty.
