§ Mr. Cledwyn HughesThe stated policy of this Government has always been one of selected expansion of agriculture. The annual Review has always252W had a central place in the development of this policy. In consultation with the representatives of the industry, we then review progress and consider what resources and incentives may be needed and how they may best be provided. This machinery has proved its worth. In my recent statement I set guidelines for further expansion in the coming years. I made clear that we should continue to use the Annual Review for these purposes.
