§ Mr. Ashtonasked the Minister of Transport, in view of the fact that there have been approximately 15 road accidents in the last two months, most of which resulted in personal injury, if he will treat as a matter of urgency the proposals by the divisional road engineer that traffic signals should be erected at the junction of the Worksop by-pass and the main Worksop—Doncaster road.
§ Mr. MarshYes. Special equipment has to be manufactured for these signals and both we and the local authority have stressed the need for urgency to the makers. In the meantime, additional and larger traffic signs and road markings are being provided.
