§ Commander Purseyasked the Minister of Power if he will direct the Yorkshire Electricity Board to cut off supplies to municipally-owned single storey prefabricated houses in Hull until the wiring in those houses has been checked for safety.
§ Mr. FreesonNo; the Board already have appropriate powers to act under the Electricity Supply Regulations if they have reasonable grounds for thinking that the wiring is unsafe. They offered to inspect the wiring in these houses, but the Corporation informed them that they had the matter in hand.
