HC Deb 15 November 1968 vol 773 c165W
Mr. Maxwell-Hyslop

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, when a reply will be sent to the letter dispatched to him on 16th October by Major B. C. Harward of Messrs. Penny and Harward, Solicitors, of Tiverton, in Devon; and why no acknowledgment had been received by the latter by 7th November.

Mr. Whitlock

The inquiry was referred for advice to the British Government Representative to the Associated States in the Caribbean and a reply will be sent as soon as possible. Major Harward has now been informed of the position.

I regret that through an oversight an acknowledgment was not sent at the time.
