§ Mr. FernyhoughOn 14th October, 1968, the percentage rate of males wholly unemployed in the Girvan Employment Exchange area was 9.5. This is one of the five special areas in Scotland where there are additional inducements to industrial expansion. My local officers will continue their efforts to help those unemployed to find suitable work and training opportunities.
