Mr. Edward M. Taylorasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what advice he is giving to local authorities regarding the construction and maintenance of multi-storey flats, in view of the report of the tribunal studying the Ronan Point accident.
§ Mr. RossA copy of the report of the Tribunal of Inquiry has been sent to each housing authority. A circular giving further advice about the appraisal and, where necessary, the strengthening of existing blocks, and about the design of new blocks, will follow as soon as possible.
