§ Mr. FernyhoughInformation is available only for those teachers who are registered at my Department's Professional and Executive Register Offices. On 7th November there were 1,309 unemployed registrants at these offices who were accepted or recognised by the Department of Education and Science or by the Scottish Education Department as qualified teachers and who were seeking employment in their profession.
