§ Mrs. Shirley WilliamsComplete information is not available, but I understand that last April the value of current contracts at universities in Great Britain which had been placed by the United States Defence Departments through the Ministry of Technology's Committee on Research Contracts with Universities was about £560,000. I cannot say how much of this research related to defence and warfare, nor what financial support is provided by other agencies of the United States.
