§ Mr. Bagierasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government how much land has been available in the new town of Washington for industrial use in 48W the last four years; how much of it has already been taken up or is already allocated; and what has been the number of male jobs per acre provided.
§ Mr. MacColl320 acres, already developed or earmarked, were available in 1964. A further 445 acres were allocated subsequently. Completed factories occupy 92.5 acres of the latter and factories under construction 98 acres; 560 male jobs have so far been provided but the final male employment per acre cannot yet be estimated.
