23. Mr. Onslow

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what is the average waiting time at the St. Peter's and Woking Victoria hospitals for non-urgent gynaecological operations; what it was in 1964; and how many such operations were performed at these hospitals in each of the years mentioned.

Mr. Snow

24 months compared with 15 months in 1964. In the first nine months of 1968 a total of 1,045 gynaecological operations were performed compared with 923 in the corresponding period in 1964. Urgent and non-urgent operations are not separately recorded.

Mr. Onslow

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services how many urgent gynaecological operations have been carried out at the St. Peter's and Woking Victoria hopitals during each of the past 10 years.
