HC Deb 04 November 1968 vol 772 c37W
Mr. Monro

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland how many election polling cards in Scotland will be scrapped, and at what cost, in order that cards conforming to the new Post Office regulations can be introduced.

Mr. Ross

Instructions were issued in February, 1966, that new printings of poll cards should be to a new specification within the preferred range. I have no information about the number of poll cards conforming to the old specification which are still held by returning officers These may still be used pending the introduction of the higher tariffs for postal matter outside the preferred range.
