§ Mr. Whitakerasked the Secretary of State for Commonwealth Affairs what requests the Government have received for defence equipment, aid or guarantees from Zambia; and whether he will now grant defence assistance against Rhodesia.
§ Mr. WhitlockDefence matters have been discussed between Her Majesty's Government and the Zambian Government on many occasions and we are providing Zambia with defence assistance in the form of a British Joint Services Training Team and a grant available since 1965 for the purchase of defence equipment from this country.
